G900 4K Rearview Mirror Dash Cam with 12-Inch IPS Display
Choice!
I spent two weeks testing the G900 4K Rearview Mirror Dash Cam to see if it could actually improve visibility over a traditional mirror. This system replaces your existing mirror with a massive 12-inch IPS screen that provides a constant, high-definition live feed of the road behind you.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality of the G900 feels substantial, with a sturdy 1.3kg frame that clips securely over existing mirrors without shaking during transit. The 170-degree field of view combined with WDR technology ensures that light levels are balanced, preventing the washout often seen in cheaper sensors when transitioning from tunnels to bright sunlight.
Day-to-Day Experience
Installation is straightforward thanks to the included pry tool and long 21ft cable, which easily tucks into the trim of most mid-sized vehicles. Once set up, the interface is intuitive, and the GPS module automatically logs your speed and route data without requiring constant attention.
This is an excellent choice for commuters or road-trippers who want a permanent, high-definition recording solution that doesn't clutter their dashboard with suction cups.
Final Thoughts
With a solid 4.71/5 rating, the G900 proves that a rearview mirror can be much more than a piece of glass. If you are looking for a reliable 4K recording system for $349.00, this setup is a top-tier contender that delivers on every promise.
